My Fees

Fees

As of January 2024, the current fee schedule is as follows:

$140 for an individual 60 minute session

$170 for an individual Intake session (approx 80 minutes)

$200 for an individual extended session (approx 90 minutes)

$220 for a couples session (approx 90 minutes)

Group sessions will be dependent on the next group running, so if you’re interested, please enquire via my contact page

Medicare

At this stage, Medicare does not cover the services of Professional Counsellors.

If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and would like to utilise rebates through Medicare, then you will need to see your GP for a referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist.

Payment

In-Person Sessions - payments are accepted via online banking, cash or cheque at the appointment.

Online & Phone Sessions - payments are accepted via online banking prior to the appointment

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

I understand that there are times when life throws the unexpected at us, and that despite our best intentions it means we’re unable to make an appointment. Please make sure that if you are unable to attend your appointment that you cancel and reschedule at least 24 hours beforehand, otherwise you will be charged the full fee for the session. This also means that if there is someone on the waitlist for an appointment, they will be able to take up the opportunity of availability.

I offer a free 20 minute session where we can discuss what has brought you to seeking help, and how you would like your life to look and feel like after therapy. This is a great first step which empowers you to be able to make an informed decision.
